‘I’ll Be There’ Earns P36.8 M in 2 Weeks

The dramatic film starring KC Concepcion, Jericho Rosales and Gabby Concepcion raked-in P36.8 million in 2 weeks.

The Star Cinema film placed 4th behind Hollywood giants “Toy Story 3,” “Knight and Day” and “The Karate Kid” for the weekend period of June 23-27, 2010 based on the report by the website Box Office Mojo.

Topping the said period was the second weekend run of Disney-Pixar’s “Toy Story 3” with a haul of P45.1 million. The critically-acclaimed animated feature has a two weeks total of P107.75 million.

“Knight and Day” debuted at no. 2 in the Philippines with P25.7 million while placing 3rd was the third weekend run of “The Karate Kid” with P22.1 million. The Jackie Chan starrer has a three weeks total of P137.58 million at the Philippine box-office.

“Emir” placed 10th again on its 3rd week. The musical has a 3 weeks running total of P3.1 million.
