100 Most Beautiful Women in the Philippines for 2010 – Start of Nominations

Now on its 5th year, the original “100 Most Beautiful” list is back! Let the nominations begin.

100 Most Beautiful Women in the Philippines, also known as “100 Most Beautiful Pinays” is an annual poll conducted exclusively by Starmometer.com since 2006. Now on its 5th year, the poll remains the same: powered by fans, tabulated online, real time results, transparent and free! You don’t need to spend money by text voting, all you need is to get online and vote.

Last year’s Top 100 is automatically nominated for this year’s poll. We will ask you, our dear readers, to nominate your favorite celebrity if she is NOT included among the 100 below:

From people’s nomination through this post and the 100 automatically nominated celebrities, we shall select the 100 Most Beautiful Pinays. In order to rank them, we shall have 5 heats where the top 20 vote-getters from each heat will advance in our Top 100 poll.

From the Top 100, we will select the Top 20 finalists who will battle it out for this year’s title via a special poll in Starmometer’s Facebook Page. This will ensure 100% transparency and accuracy as a respondent can only vote once and his/her vote and identity are seen by other respondents.

We must begin our search with your nominations. Post the name/s of Filipino women that you think should be included in this elite list of 100 Most Beautiful Pinays. You can nominate as many names as you wish as long as they match our criteria:

* She should be at least 17 years old and not older than 50 years old

* She can be an actress, singer, athlete, newscaster, etc. as long as she’s beautiful, of course, and a Filipino citizen.

* Half-Filipina is ok as long as she’s visible and/or popular here in our country.

Post your nomination(s) through the comments link below and on Saturday, we shall begin the preliminary polls containing your nominations and the 100 names posted above.
