Glee has permanent cast members but they recruit guests from time to time. There are a lot of applicants including big-time names and a few get accepted. Charice auditioned and got chosen as guest for season 2 because of her extraordinary vocal prowess. She will have 10 episodes. Charice is a very busy lady these days and I don’t think that being a regular cast member would work out anyway.
Gleek is in denial that Charice is big time here in the States. Out of 100 pop stars, she’s no. 38, beating even katy perry, and to think that she’s just starting, Gleek. In due time, Gleek, she’ll even be bigger, Gleek. Those that topped her has been in the industry much much longer, Gleek. Open your eyes, Gleek.

We Filipinos should be proud of Charice’s accomplishments. She’s the first Asian to have conquered the prestigious U.S. Billboard charts with her latest album included in the top ten best selling albums in the entire U.S.A. Not one Pinoy local singer can top that, as we speak.Stop this stupid crab mentality, that will not do us any good.Instead be happy that finally we have one we can call “our own” who becomes an International superstar because of her strong determination & hardwork.Non-Filipinos admire her so much that they flock to her concert & buy her latest album.One of my co workers here in the U.S who happens to be white even brought her entire family to Las Vegas to watch her concert(the one with David Foster). She also has Charice’s latest album. Love not only yourself but your own kind as well.
