Zanjoe Marudo finally broke his silence about the different women being linked to him, from Queenie Padilla to his “Martha Cecilia’s Kristine” co-star Cristine Reyes.

In an interview, the Prince of Passion said he is not courting Queenie, who happens to be the daughter of the current boyfriend (or husband) of his ex-girlfriend Mariel Rodriguez.

“Wala pong katotohanan na balak kong ligawan si Queenie, hindi pa naman din kami nai-introduce sa isa’t-isa. Kung sino man yung gumagawa nang isyu na ‘yan, isipin nyo muna dahil wala namang pinanggagalingan,” he said.

Marudo also belied the accusation that he allowed himself to be used in the issue involving Kim Chiu, Gerald Anderson, and Bea Alonzo, after he came as the date of the latter in the recent Star Magic Ball.

The hunk actor said it wasn’t necessary to make an issue or be malicious about it.

“Pareho kaming Star Magic ni Bea at mabuti ko siyang kaibigan. Pareho din naman kaming dapat na walang kasama pupunta, so nagdecide na lang kami magpunta na magkasama,” he explained.

The biggest rumor about him so far is his so-called rift with Reyes. Some people say the two are not really close like they claim to be and that they don’t even speak to each other on set of their show.

“Siguro hindi naman lalabas yung “chemistry” kung totoo yung balita na deadmahan kami off-screen, kung ni hindi man lang kami nag-uusap,” Marudo countered.

He added they would even be reprimanded at times because they get too playful in between takes.
