Miss Earth 2010 to be Held in Vietnam
Vietnam’s hosting of the 10th Miss Earth pageant was officially announced during a press conference held at the White Palace in Ho Chi Minh City on August 25.
Aside from the invited media delegation; the Vietnam hosting committee, Vinpearl Land representatives, Carousel Productions officials, sponsors and the reigning Miss Earth Larissa Ramos of Brazil were present in the said event. Former Miss Philippines Sandra Seifert, reigning Miss Philippines Kris Psyche Resus and some Vietnamese fashion models were also invited.
Miss Earth 2010 will officially start on November 4. The month-long event will include exciting activities in Ho Chi Minh City, Nha Trang, Phan Thiet, Hoi An and other locations. Besides the environmental activities, the candidates will have a national costume show, swimsuit and evening competitions.
The finale and coronation show is scheduled to take place on December 4, 2010 at Vinpearl Land, Nha Trang, Vietnam.

FYI: sa di nakaka alam , ang Ms Earth ay telecast lamang ng ABS CBN at ang Carousel Production ang may ari ng MS Earth sa pamumuno ni Loraine Shuck, dating beauty queen at dating organizer din ng Mutya ng Pilipinas .Kaya sa mga nagtatanga- tangahan na naman dito sa Starmometer e mag research muna bago mag comment lalo na yung number one na nag post .Channel 2 ang kanilang official na nag bo broadcast ng Ms Earth Philippines at Ms Earth , just like Bb Pilipinas , hindi pag aari ng Channel 7 , sila lamang ang naka kontratang mag broadcast ng said pageant.KLARO?ha number one?

This is really the first time that Miss Earth is going to be held outside the Philippines. The first attempt was on Novemeber 15, 2006, in Santiago, Chile the 6th edition for Miss Earth. But unfortunately, the Chilean organizers didn’t meet the requirements for the said beauty pageant. So, that’s why it was moved back in the Philippines. And accidentaly, the 6th titleholder for the Miss Earth is from Chile, her name is Hil Hernandez.

Wow, possibly 100 candidates ang lalahok sa Miss Earth 2010. ang dami ng kandidata. Bat kaya sa miss universe di man lang umaabot sa 80 ang countries na sumasali. i really wonder why. tsaka ang daming countries na sumasali sa Miss World at Miss Earth na di sumasali sa Miss Universe.

FYI po yung Ms. Earth po eh pag aari po ng ABS, subsidiary po siya ng ABS CBN kaya world class po talaga ang ABS eh ang kapuso meron ba nyan? kaya ba nila mag produce ng international pagent? saka korek yung nasa itaas kpag Ms. Universe sa ABS ang humahawak kasi mas may tiwala ang Ms. U at dahil alam nilang mas malawak ang scope ng ABS local and international because of TFC.
