Amanda Seyfried (Letters to Juliet, Dear John) stars in the upcoming horror film "Red Riding Hood."

The film is directed by Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke and also stars Virginia Madsen, Shiloh Fernandez, Max Irons, Julie Christie, Gary Oldman and Lukas Haas.

The movie revolves around a village which is haunted by a werewolf. Valerie (Red Riding Hood) seeks the assistance of a hunter (Oldman) to fight the creature.

It is based loosely on the famous tale Little Red Riding Hood by the Brothers Grimm and bent to become more of a horror movie rather than fantasy.

Red Riding Hood is scheduled to hit theaters on March 11, 2011.
