Bb. Pilipinas Lost the Miss World Franchise to Cory Quirino
The Bb. Pilipinas Charities, Inc. (BPCI) of Madam Stella Araneta has lost a feather from its cap. They just lost the Miss World franchise and starting 2011, they will be sending delegates to the Miss Universe and Miss International pageants and no longer in Miss World.
Talkshow host and wellness guru Cory Quirino, on the other hand, secured the rights to organize the oldest beauty pageant in the Philippines after Fusion Excel International (FE) has been appointed to manage the selection of the 2011 Miss World candidates in Malaysia and the Philippines.
But which network will Cory Quirino give the airing rights for Miss World Philippines 2011, ABS-CBN, GMA or TV5?
my message to Ms Cory Quirino, i hope that you will come up with the decision of letting GMA7 air the new Miss World Philippines. I believe that it will build a good partnership that such prestigious pageant need to be able to produce beauty queen with a purpose. thank you Mam
tama na yan, dapat lang na sa GMA 7 ipalabas ang Miss World, masyado naman ng sakim ang ABS kung pati ang rights sa pagpapalabas ng miss world ay kunin pa nila. And besides Ms Miriam Quiambao and Ms Ma Venus Raj who once brought pride to our country were just a good examples of a true beauty queen that the BPCI ever had of course through the assistance of GMA7. Nakakalungkot lang isipin na despite the good things that the network has given BPCI ay nagawa pa nilang lumipat ng station. To Ms Stela Araneta, you said you want change,? change must start from you. you have the power to initiate the changes you want with Bb Pilipinas,. im sory pro pera pera lang lahat yan….
i think it would be best for miss world philippines to be aired in GMA 7, since ABS has the BB Pilipinas & the Ms Philippines Earth already, the pageant will be given enough attention and nourishment that will give our country our first miss world ever! tnx

Buti na lang wala na sa puder ni Araneta ang Ms. World, puro dayaan lang at favoritism yung contest nya!! Sana gumawa din ng separate na pageant for Miss Universe, MISS UNIVERSE PHILIPPINES!!! Kanya na lang nag miss international, tutal dun xa nanggaling!!!
Nung GMA ang nag-cover ng Miss Asia Pacific and BB.Phil, ang dry ng presentation…
Sa ABS nmn, ok nmn yung Miss Earth and Ms. Phil-Earth coverage kaso parang di nila maxado priority kasi bihira i-advertise and super late pinapalabas..

This is a positive change, i believe.
I have only 3 major major observations. Hehe
first, Many deserving candidates will now be given 3 options where to join?. Example: for 2011, a candidate can join Binibini for miss universe and join also the pageant for miss world, and join also miss earth?(hahaha-career ang beauty contest) or baka iban ng bpci ang sasali sa miss world na sasali pa sa kanila.

tontang kapamilyang baklita…hindi yan pagaspangan ng station…mapagimbento talaga kau!san u naman napulot yang ganyang statement, aber?para lang maiangat mo ang station mong maalpit nang ilibing kya ganun?fyi – ang india at venezuela na walang class ang mga staion nagbo broadcast ay palaging nanalo sa Miss World, kya pano mo nasasabi na sosyal at may credibilidad ang abscbn? etchos!!! credibilidad? ok ka lang ba? tanong mo sa mga dating news anchor at reporters ng station ng mga malapit nang malibing kung ano ba talaga ang abs sa likod ng camera…yun lang maklang bobita….echos ulit!!!!

lesson yan para sa Bb. Pilipinas.. dapat kasi one at a time lang, wag maramot.. share naman kayo.. hindi yung at single night 3 agad ang panalo! dapat isa-isa lang para bongga! Ms. International at Ms. Universe, hatiin na rin..

ABS has Ms. Earth, pwede rin ang Ms. World. Sana pati Ms. Universe. kasi sa ABS rin lang naman ineere ang Ms. Universe Live dito sa Pinas.
