NBC’s ‘The Voice’ will Introduce Blind Auditions

What makes new show "The Voice" different from talent search programs such as "Got Talent,", "X-Factor" and "Idol" is the "Blind Auditions."

The Voice is a new American reality television singing competition scheduled to premiere on April 26, 2011 on the television network NBC to rival Fox network’s American Idol and the forthcoming The X Factor.

The show is a franchise from Endemol, the TV company from Netherlands which popularized the hit reality program “Big Brother.”

The US edition will be hosted by Carson Daly while Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine of Maroon 5 and Blake Shelton will serve as judges.

The huge difference of this show from other reality talent search programs is the “blind auditions” which is explained on the trailer below:
