‘Hop’ Bounces to Top of US Box-Office

The Easter-themed live-action/animated movie "Hop" has laid golden eggs at the US Box-office this weekend.

“Hop,” featuring the voice of British bad boy Russell Brand (Arthur), debuted atop the North American box office earning $38.1 million, according to industry figures Sunday.

Jake Gyllenhaal‘s critically-acclaimed sci-fi thriller “Source Code” debuted at number two with $15.1 million. Gyllenhaal’s character is part of a government experiment to find the bomber of a Chicago commuter train (Click here to watch trailer).

Capturing the third position is the horror flick “Insidious.” The “haunted house” themed movie raked in a descent $13.5 million which is good for 3rd place (Click here to watch the trailer).

    I want to see John Lloyd to produce a movie, gonna boxoffice hit with any leading actress. But Julia Montes is much preferred, this is a hit making over 200 mil.
