Piano Teacher Gets Her Wish in ‘Pilipinas Got Talent’

Every VIEWER'S heart was touched with the story of 57 year old Agnes Ignacio last Saturday in “Pilipinas Got Talent.”

Agnes, who hails from Romblon, lives a solitary life after her husband left her upon learning that she has stage four cancer. She wasn’t blessed with a child in her almost 25 years of marriage. As a piano teacher, she wants to buy a new grand piano for her students and of course, continue her consultations with the doctor. To help her realize these dreams, , she joined PGT. Judge Kris Aquino instantly responded to her request and said she will take care of buying and shipping the new grand piano to her place in Romblon. How Will Agnes take her act to the next level as she advances to the next round in the country’s number one talent-reality show?

Last Saturday, PGT scored a national TV rating of 27.8% versus rival shows “Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho” (18%) and “Talentadong Pinoy” (8.8%). It also ruled last Sunday when the show rated at 29.6% nationally versus “Mel & Joey” (11.7%), according to Kantar Media/TNS.

    Just read tabloid here, there was these 9 year old contestant in britain got talent, arisxandra libantino stated by the paper the new BGT singing sensation. By her last name and by her looks, she is a filipina. she is fantastic, I think she was singing in karaoke. She was hailed by the paper as “a real Susan Boyle”. BGT will start on saturday in the UK.     PGT is very interesting at the same time VERY INSPIRING… I cried too in this portion. God is good in every other way :))

    im also a cancer patient stage 4.i was diagnosed to have metastatic breast cancer and my spine was affected.a brace was given to me from UCLA hosp.
    i was deeply touched watching the piano teacher and unable to control my tears when i learned that she’s living byherself.but im glad to hear that she has a very strong faith in the Lord!that is very encouraging to everyone.she is an inspiration to cancer patients because of being a fighter and can face the circumstances in her life.

    God bless you more sis Agnes Ignacio.I pray that God releases His miracle healing power to you in Jesus name.

    How inspiring naman her story. Panget naman ng ugali ng mga kapatid at asawa nya. Kung walang pera pambayad for treatment, at least just be there for her. Ang Diyos ang magde-decide whether kukunin na sya o papagalingin. May God bless you Agnes.

    her confession made me cry…I havent cry for so long years…the last tme I cried was when my father died and its very rare to see a man crying….dont know why I felt her words??? or 8s just that malapit ako sa aking nanay and realize that hindi naging ganito ang kanyang naranasan… PGT really gives inspiration to the filipino people…
