If Vice Ganda is the first pinoy celebrity to garner 1 million Facebook fans, Anne Curtis, on the other hand, became the first to hit 1 million followers on Twitter.

The Green Rose star thanked everyone who has been following her in the social networking site.

“1 million followers! Wooooow! Thank you to everyone for the follow here on Twitter! Thanks for wanting to follow and read all the nonsense, craziness and random thoughts I like to share,” she recently posted on her Twitter account.

Anne Curtis, who is one of the most active celebrities who tweets (@annecurtissmith), is currently being followed by 1,007,890 as of this posting.

Twitter has become Anne’s way to get in touch with her fans and to reach the people that she admires.

“Cheers guys and thank you again for the love and support! Waaaaaah. You all made my day! Love you all!!!,” she said.

Meanwhile, Anne’s friend and fellow Kapamilya star Angel Locsin, might be the next Pinoy celebrity to hit 1 million followers on Twitter. The “Imortal” star has been a finalist in the recently concluded Shorty Awards, otherwise known as the “Oscars” for Twitter users around the world.
