Kapuso actress Claudine Barretto attended the wake of AJ Perez at Christ the King Church last Sunday condoling the family who was left behind by the young actor who died in a vehicular accident.
Claudine has worked with AJ in the teleserye “Iisa Pa Lamang” when she was still on ABS-CBN.
Another reason why she attended the wake is to support, Steph Ayson, AJ’s girlfriend. She believes Steph is going through the same pain she felt when her ex-boyfriend Rico Yan, who is currently being compared to AJ, died 9 years ago.
“Although 21 na ako noong nangyari sa akin ‘yun, she’s 17 pa lang. Mahirap kasi it had to happen to somebody who’s close to me. So masakit para sa akin na makita ‘yun, malungkot,” she said.
Claudine assured Steph that she will always be there to support her while coping with AJ’s death.

“I don’t really care because I try to stay away from those things,” the Eat Bulaga! host told Pinoy Entertainment Portal.

No ‘Willing Willie’ Yet this Week

“Willing Willie” is still not returning to television after its supposed two-week break.
This is what Jay Montelibano, Willing Willie‘s Executive Producer, has confirmed via a text message to PEP today, April 25. They are sitll waiting for advice from TV5 following their talks to MTRCB.
On the other hand, Shalani Soledad said on Paparazzi yesterday that a much-improved “Willing Willie” is definitely coming back on television. They are not sure about the date yet.
However, there is a rumor that the show might likely return on April 30, Saturday or May 2, Monday but it all depends on the management of TV5.
