Jonavi Raisa Quiray from Puerto Princesa is one step ahead of the 48 other contestants of Miss Philippines Earth 2011 after she won the coveted Best in Swimsuit Award.

Quiray’s another advantage from other competitors is that she’s already a title holder. She assumed the Mutya ng Pilipinas International crown in 2008 and this experience makes her a fierce competitor in the 2011 Miss Philippines Earth pageant.

Special award winners during the swimsuit competition are Michelle Gavagan (Miss Golden Sunset) and Murielle Adrienne Orais (Miss Gandang Ricky Reyes).

9 or 10 candidates will be eliminated this Saturday in Calapan, Mindoro as the competition heats up.

The coronation night of Miss Philippines Earth 2011 will be held in Puerto Princesa on June 5, 2011.
