‘Thor’ Starring Chris Hemsworth Tops US Box-Office
The latest film adaptation of a Marvel graphic novel topped the US box-office last weekend with a $66 million take.
“Thor” starring Australian actor Chris Hemsworth and Oscar-winning actress Natalie Portman had the third highest debut of a Marvel flick, placing behind Spider-Man and Iron Man.
Last week’s leader, Fast Five which is the fifth installment to the “Fast and the Furious” franchise settled for 2nd place this week. The action flick had a two-week gross of $139.8 million at the box-office in Northern America alone.
