10 Candidates Remain, Vying for the Miss Philippines Earth 2011 Crown

After a series of cuts, only 10 out of 49 contestants remain for the Miss Philippines Earth 2011 title.

The Top 10 finalists of Miss Philippines Earth 2011 have been named Saturday night, May 21, after the Talent and Cultural competition which held at the Thunderbird Resort in Binangonan, Rizal. It was the fourth and last elimination.

The Miss Philippines Earth 2011 Top 10 candidates are (in no particular order:

1. Ma. Alicia Elena Ariosa – Pagadian
2. Murielle Adrienne Orais – Cebu
3. Edan Dafilmoto – Cotabato
4. Michelle Gavagan – Las Piñas
5. Jonavi Raisa Quiray – Puerto Princesa
6. Mary Denisse Toribio – Malolos
7. Brenna Cassandra Gamboa – Fil East Coast USA
8. Athena Mae Imperial – Casiguran
9. Tarhata Clio Shari Rico – Makati
10. Catrine Rosary Ocampo – General Santos

The first elimination was held last May 6 leaving 40 contenders. The second cut was held last May 12 when another 10 contestants got the boot. The third elimination was held last May 16 leaving 20 contestants vying for the crown. Last night, the Top 20 were trimmed down to 10.

The Miss Philippines Earth 2011 winner will represent the Philippines in the international Miss Earth 2011 beauty pageant which will be held in Thailand this November.
