Luis Manzano broke his silence about his rumored "relationship" with Kapuso star Jennylyn Mercado.

Last week, Luis Manzano and Jennylyn Mercado were spotted shopping together at a grocery store in Taguig. Luis did not confirm nor deny the issue after he was asked by Showbiz News Ngayon if he and Jennylyn are an item.

Yesterday on his showbiz talk show “E-Live”, his co-host Nikki Gil dropped the question.

Nikki Gil: “Nagdidate nga ba kayo ni Jennilyn Mercado?”

Luis: “YES”

Luis pointed out that network affiliation is not an issue once you develop a feelings for someone.

“Kahit nasa kabila [GMA-7] si Jen, I’ve always been a fan of her beauty. Kahit nung nakita ko siya, sa Lepazpi pa yun, e, I am hosting a pageant. Sabi ko sa kasama ko, ‘Ang ganda niya, ‘no?'” he said.

Luis also cleared about the Boracay issue that he allegedly followed Jennylyn a week after the Kapuso star went to boracay. He said that Jennylyn was there for a vacation with her family and her son not because they planned it.

Luis also confirmed that he already introduced the Kapuso actress to her mom, Gov. Vilma Santos, during a show in Batangas.

Minutes after Luis Manzano confessed about his love life on E-Live, Jennylyn Mercado followed suit and confirmed on the opposite program, Star Talk, that she and Luis are dating.
