Pinoys not only witnessed world class acts on “Pilipinas Got Talent 2” last Sunday, but they also saw world class beauties in 2010 Miss Universe 4th runner up Venus Raj and Bb. Pilipinas-Universe 2011 Shamcey Supsup gracing the PGT stage with a fun opening dance number.

Heartthrob Jericho Rosales also gave a song number. As the competition draws nearer to its much-awaited finale, two grand finalists were again named. Young singer John Michael Narag automatically took the 7th grand finalist slot after topping the nationwide text votes while dance group Filogram grabbed the 8th spot after winning the judges votes. The two acts will now advance to the grand final alongside other grand finalists to be named in the coming weeks.

PGT continues to be the country’s number one reality-talent show. Last Saturday, PGT scored a national TV rating of 24.1% versus rival shows “Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho” (17.9%) and “Talentadong Pinoy” (9.8%). It also ruled last Sunday when the show rated at 24.5% nationally versus “Mel & Joey” (14%), according to Kantar Media/TNS.
