Mickey Ablan and Iwa Moto‘s love story is filled with what we would like to call “romantic violence.” From the “agawan ng cellphone” incident at the GMA-7 compound that ended with Iwa breaking Mickey’s car’s window to Mickey’s barging on the Kapuso star’s house last Sunday morning, kicking on her door and window when he didn’t find her there.
And now Mickey claims he did all that stuff out of love.
Mickey broke his silence on his controversial quarrel with Iwa via a recent PEP interview. He said, “Wala akong balak na takutin or everything. Ang akin lang, na-miss ko lang si Iwa. Out of love ‘yun. ‘Yun lang na instance na ginawa ko ‘yun.”
He also posted a long tweet revealing that despite his “rough” exterior, he has his “soft” side:
“Needs to get my life back… How? Where will I start? I thought going out and making a wreck of myself would be a start but it only made situations worse. Got to keel focusing in training nalang siguro…and fight in the ring or octagon. Prove something to myself…I’m not going to be selfish anymore, guess that would be a good start. I miss my life, I miss everything about it, miss the late nights that and early mornings when I would pick you up at work… I’m sorry for everything… I’m not a rock, I have feelings that most people won’t expect how soft I am… for the last time, I love you… You know who you are… I will always remember you as someone special to me and my fa-mily… Love you boss”
Followed by…
“Sometimes you need to get hurt to move on as in really hurt. Hear what you’re not suppose to hear, know what you’re not suppose to know. Shouldn’t have listened to that phone call… If me-ron word na iba para sa ‘hurt’, mas grabe pa ‘yung nararamdaman ko… Haaay.”
There are rumors that Mickey is being sent abroad by his parents to avoid ex-girlfriend Iwa Moto. But based from his tweets, it seems like he still has feelings for the Kapuso actress and longs to reunite with her.

Silveradyo Marks DZMM’s 25 Years of Service and Leadership

DZMM is going full blast and hi-tech this year as it marks its 25th anniversary with the launch of DZMM SilveRadyo.
During a trade event, ABS-CBN Head for Manila Radio Division Peter Musngi announced that DZMM is set to upgrade its broadcast equipment and strengthen its public service efforts to mark the company’s milestone.
“DZMM is bound by its mission to be the first in breaking news and the first in public service. We’ve fulfilled it the past 25 years and we will continue to serve the public in the same manner as we grow stronger and get better,” said Musngi.
Musngi said DZMM will also strengthen its reach by improving the current DZMM text hotline 2366 React Message and website (dzmm.com.ph). He also teased the advertisers about the major events to come this year in line with the DZMM SilveRadyo, including the launch of its new station ID on June 12.
At the trade event, DZMM anchors, reporters, and executives performed to the delight of the advertisers and guests. Ted Failon and Pinky Webb of “Tambalang Failon at Webb” sang a duet, Anthony Taberna and Gerry Baja of “Dos Por Dos” serenaded the finalists of Binibining Pilipinas, while Karen Davila and Musngi surprised everyone with a rendition of the song “Kahit Maputi na ang Buhok Ko.”
Alex Santos of “Radyo Patrol Balita” and Tambayan 101.9 San Ka Pa’s DJ Chacha also did back-to-back duets with Toni Gonzaga and Jericho Rosales, respectively.
Musngi also thanked the advertisers for the unwavering support through the years. “All of the leadership and accomplishments of DZMM would not be possible without you,” he said.
DZMM has pioneered many firsts in the broadcast industry through the years, including the simultaneous airing of programs on radio and television with the ground-breaking DZMM TeleRadyo. Today, other radio stations have followed DZMM’s lead and broadcast their radio programs on TV.
DZMM is also tops when it comes to public service with innovative ways of bringing service to the Filipino people such as 2009’s “Kapamilya, Shower Na” that led to the birth of the DZMM TLC (Teaching Learning Caring) clinic-on-wheels and classroom-on-wheels project.
