Now that ABS-CBN has updated their "Lupang Hinirang" music video, netizens could not help but compare it to the rival network's version.

GMA-7 has released the cinematic version of the Philippine National Anthem last year featuring Kapuso stars re-enacting historical figures and events from Lapu Lapu to the 1986 People Power EDSA Revolution. The 2 and a half music video has won for the network a bronze medal in the 2011 New York Festivals.

ABS-CBN, on the other hand, updated their “Lupang Hinirang” music video featuring their brightest stars in various locations not just in the Philippines but key cities around the world. The new music video was just released last Sunday in time for the Philippines’ 113th celebration of Independence Day.
