‘Pilipinas Got Talent’ Grand Finals: A Showdown of 14 World Class Acts

Fourteen world class and talented grand finalists have wowed the Philippines. One of them will be declared the champion of the country’s number one talent-reality show “Pilipinas Got Talent” this weekend.

Will the singers prevail again in the second season of PGT and follow the footsteps of first grand winner Jovit Baldivino? Madrigal Siblings of Cainta, Rizal; acoustic heartthrob Jem Cubil of Talisay, Cebu; young balladeer John Michael Narag of Mabini, Pangasinan; Pinoy Bruno Mars Buildex Pagales of Digos City; tween trio DJP Trio of Bacolod, Negros Occidental; and male diva Marcelito Pomoy of Imus, Cavite will surely give their best performances.

Four dancing grand finalists will show off their terpischorean skills on stage. They are dance groups Freestylers of Calamba, Laguna; B4 of Baguio City; and Filogram of Baguio City; tapdancing brothers Happy Feet of Libona, Bukidnon, and powerdance duo Leoniel Enopia and Elizabeth Dazo of Bacolod, Negros Occidental take their performances to the next and highest level.

Rico the Magician from Caloocan will once again amaze you with his magic tricks, while Angel Calalas from Cainta, Rizal will do her mesmerizing hoola hoop exhibition. Skeights, the only band to make it to this year’s grand finals, is also prepped to rock out the crowd at the Big Dome.

All 14 grand finalists of “Pilipinas Got Talent” will have their final chance to impress the judges and the viewing public on performance night this Saturday (June 25) at the Araneta Coliseum. Voting will now be limited for every mobile phone number and email address. Only 30 votes per keyword per contestant per day can be sent using one celphone number or email address in the overnight voting. For bulk voting, the limit is also 30 votes per keyword. “Pilipinas Got Talent” is the most successful and most watched talent-reality show on Philippine TV that catapulted its first grand winner Jovit to stardom. Since he won in June last year, Jovit has already released two albums under Star Records.
