Nora Aunor is making a comeback in Philippine showbiz after being gone for almost a decade.

This was revealed by her daughter, Matet de Leon, in an interview by ABS-CBN’s primetime showbiz news program “Showbiz News Ngayon.”

“One of these days, magugulat na lang tayong lahat, nandito na si Mommy,” she said.

De Leon said her mom is currently preparing for the big comeback and she appealed to the “Noranians” to be patient.

Aunor was last seen on ABS-CBN’s primetime teleserye “Bituin” in 2002. In the last movie that she made, “Naglalayag (2004),” she won Best Actress in both the Metro Manila Film Festival and Brussels Festival of Independent Films.

Last year, she was named one of 10 Asian Best Actresses of the Decade by the Green Planet Movie Awards.
