GMA-7 Primetime Queen Marian Rivera has released an official statement regarding Heart Evangelista's accusations.

In a press statement which was sent to Philippine Entertainment Portal through her manager Popoy Caritativo, the “Amaya” star opted not to react to Heart Evangelista‘s accusations. Evangelista’s version of the story reached the media yesterday stating that she was allegedly “attacked, shouted at, and threatened” by Rivera.

Here is Marian Rivera‘s statement via Caritativo regarding this matter:

“I have spoken with Marian earlier and we have decided that for the sake of peace and out of respect to GMA, she will no longer speak about this incident so that the issue can be put to rest.

She has already said her piece on this matter before and has already moved on from it.

Although it’s hard for her to remain silent, she knows that there are times that peace is the better option. So she chooses peace.

And she hopes that her supporters and fans would respect her decision. Marian sends them her love and gratitude. Thank you.

Both Marian Rivera and Heart Evangelista recently starred in the sexy comedy movie “Temptation Island” which already earned more than P50 million at the local box-office.
