Walmart Vudu Video Now Available Online

Mega-retailer Walmart unveils a new service that makes Vudu streaming video available from its official website www.walmart.com.
Vudu is a media technology company responsible for the development of its Vudu-branded interactive media services and devices that are used to distribute full-length movies over the Internet to television in North America, using a hybrid peer-to-peer TV technology. It was acquired by Wal-Mart in March 2010
Now, Walmart is making Vudu’s library of movies and other video content available for online streaming, with rentals starting as low as 99 cents to as much as $5.99. Purchase prices for movies start at $4.99 (PhP 214.00).
“At Walmart, one of our key priorities is to provide a continuous channel for our customers, from our stores to our powerful e-commerce and social media platforms,” said Steve Nave, Walmart.com senior VP and general manager in a statement. “With Vudu becoming increasingly popular among our customers, we’re providing them more access to enjoy this digital entertainment experience directly online at Walmart.com.”

Kellan Lutz portrays the Greek God of the Sea in the upcoming Tarsem Singh-epic, “The Immortals.”
The Twilight hunk admits of having difficulty in using his iconic weapon (trident) because it was so heavy.
“Everything that Tarsem does has to be unique, in its own way. The first Trident we had was heavy,” he said.
“I was trying to fight with it and was hitting myself and giving myself bruises, and that wasn’t fun. But, we found a great method and the Trident is definitely very unique,” he added.

At 10:00 p.m. Tuesday night (July 26), tropical storm “JUANING” has intensified further and slowed down as it continues to threaten Southern and Central Luzon including Metro Manila, PAGASA reported.
Tropical Storm “Juaning” is estimated based on satellite and surface data at 70 km North Northwest of Daet, Camarines Norte (14.6deg;N, 122.7deg;E) with maximum sustained winds of 85 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 100 kph.
Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said that Tropical Storm “Juaning” is moving West Northwest at 11 kph.
On Wednesday morning, Tropical Storm “Juaning” is expected to make landfall over Polillo Island City and will traverse Central Luzon. While on Wednesday evening, it is estimated to be in the vicinity of Dagupan City.
On Thursday evening, weather forecast shows that it will be at 375 km West Northwest of Laoag City.
