Winehouse Funeral to be Held on Tuesday

A representative of Amy Winehouse‘s family announced that the Grammy Winning-singer’s funeral will be held on Tuesday, July 26.
The rep also said that the funeral is going to be private and only family and close friends are invited to attend as he did not reveal its time and location.
The troubled singer died last Saturday and until now, autopsy results do not say the cause of death. Winehouse is known to have been struggling with alcohol and drug abuse and there were speculations that she possibly died for ectasy overdose.
Winehouse was 27 when she died. She was best known for her song “Rehab.”

Pilipinas Got Talent Hopeful Does a Circus Act Ala-Cirque Du Soleil

The act was like the world-renowned Cirque Du Soleil that entertained Filipinos on television last Sunday (July 24) when “Pilipinas Got Talent” hopeful Synergy from San Carlos City, Negros Occidental showcased its death defying circus act to the delight and surprise of the Big Three judges and the live studio audience. The group Synergy gave such a breathtaking performance and unanimously got the judges’ votes to proceed to the next round of the competition. The group wanted to audition during the first season of “Pilipinas Got Talent,” but it did not have enough resources to travel to the venue. So when PGT conducted auditions in Bacolod City, the group instantly grabbed the opportunity and tried out. They even rented a van just so as to transport all their props for their act. Bacolod City is only one among the almost 80 cities and municipalities PGT went to this season in search for distinct, world-class Pinoy acts. Will Synergy become the next grand winner and win P2 million? Watch as Filipinos continue to show what they got in “Pilipinas Got Talent,” airing every Saturday, 9PM, and Sunday, 8:30 PM on ABS-CBN.
