Ang Eat Bulaga ay hindi gawang GMA, TAPE ang gumawa niyan at umaarkela lang sila ng oras sa GMA7 Eat Bulaga start at RPN9 at lumipat sa Channel2, ABS-CBN ang nagpasikat niyan noon, gusto ng ABS-CBN na gumawa ng sarili nilang Noontime Show, gaya noon ng Student Canteen-is the first and original noontime show on Philippine television.
