‘Maalaala Mo Kaya’ Features Life Story of ‘Happy Feet’

Join the journey of two brothers struggling to make their dream a reality in MMK this Saturday.

“Maalaala Mo Kaya” (MMK) puts the spotlight this Saturday (Oct.8) on the heartwarming story of Ramonito and Lourdito Mata, the tap dancing duo of “Pilipinas Got Talent Season 2” popularly known as “Happy Feet.”

The brothers are delighted knowing that their life story is part of the anniversary episodes of MMK this October. “We are so thankful to MMK for choosing our life story. The viewers will learn so much from what we went through,” shared Lourdito.

He continued, “In the episode, you’ll get to see how strong our bond is as brothers, the love that we have for our family, and how we strive to attain our dreams.We hope that the viewers will like it.”

Featuring John Prats and Nash Aguas as Ramonito and Lourdito, “Bukidnon” episode narrates the struggle the brothers had to go through just to reach their dream of getting their family out of poverty. Eventually, all their efforts were not put to waste as they ranked second in PGT Season 2, giving them opportunities to show their talents while earning money and making their father appreciating their talent.

Written by Joan Habana and directed by Dado Lumibao, “Bukidnon” also features Ariel Rivera, Isay Alvarez, Nikki Valdez at Hiyasmin Neri.
