Carla Abellana bared some skin in the 2012 calendar of Tanduay!

Carla, known for her sweet image, dared to show some skin and joined the ranks of sexy calendar girls like Katrina Halili, Ehra Madrigal, Bangs Garcia, Nina Jose and Iya Villania as she was chosen to banner Tanduay’s 2012 calendar.

Despite the sexy nature of the pictorial, Carla said she will maintain her wholesome image and reiterated that the shots for the calendar were done in good taste.

It’s interesting to note that Carla’s first daring project was her last movie, My Neighbor’s Wife, where she had some steamy kissing scenes. But that doesn’t mean that she’s taking the “sexy” route in her upcoming projects.

As a matter of fact, Carla is doing a little action in the MMFF entry “Kingpin: The Asiong Salonga Story” starring opposite Governor ER Ejercito. She’s also doing drama in Regal’s “Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow” which is also an MMFF entry this year. And next year, she’s a cast-member in the period film “El Presidente” starring the Superstar Nora Aunor.
