Wayuk and High Voltage clash in concert battle for typhoon Sendong victims.

Housemates from Team Wayuk of “Pinoy Big Brother UnliDay” and Team High Voltage of “Pinoy Big Brother UnliNight” are gearing up for their live back-to-back live fund-raising concert for the victims of Typhoon Sendong in Cagayan de Oro and Iligan.

Fans can avail of VIP tickets for P10,000 each to catch the housemates’ sing-and-dance numbers at the “Give Big Love: A Christmas Benefit Concert for the Victims of Typhoon Sendong” on Friday (Dec 23) at the PBB eviction hall. A VIP package includes a dinner, shirts signed by the housemates, meet-and-greet with the ex-housemates, copies of the track and music videos of “Simpleng Pasko” and “Tayo ang Pasko,” and the once-in-a-lifetime chance to enter the PBB house confession room and talk to Big Brother.

Meanwhile, ex-housemate Mark Luz, who was evicted last week, observes that Team High Voltage is more dynamic, cohesive and thinks that the team has higher chances of winning the Kontra Battle series.

“High Voltage housemates talk about their problems, while Wayuk housemates play safe and don’t speak up because they don’t want conflict,” he said.

After Reg’s eviction two weeks ago, Big Brother had reminded the housemates to be more cautious with their actions that could violate the house rules. Despite warnings, Mark kept on using hand signals and whispering to communicate with his housemates, prompting his forced eviction from the house.

Despite his short stay inside the house, Mark believes his performance in Big Brother’s challenges was more than satisfactory. He also dreams of penetrating the showbiz industry.

Mark said, “I gave my best in every task even if it exceeded my limits. I kept everyone together. I did well. It makes me sad that I could have contributed a lot to the team but I can’t, now that I’m already evicted.”

Known as the “Model Loverboy of QC” and later on as fellow housemate Kim’s boyfriend, the 23-year old Mark finished Nursing at the Far Eastern University. If he fails to get into showbiz, he plans to take medicine and become a doctor so he could get his hands on his family’s pharmaceutical business.

After Erica and Seth’s eviction last Saturday (Dec 17), the housemates can temporarily delight in their stay inside the PBB house because the next nomination for eviction will take place next year.
