Gist: The Darkest Hour is the story of five young people who find themselves stranded in Moscow, fighting to survive in the wake of a devastating alien attack. The 3D thriller highlights the classic beauty of Moscow alongside mind-blowing special effects. –Summit

The Positive: Visually refreshing since the setting of this alien-invasion-disaster-movie is not LA, New York, Tokyo or London (for a change). If you love the genre in general, you will definitely enjoy this film.

The Negative: The characters are a little lame like the invisible aliens who are after them.
