Ahcee Flores - the name doesn't ring a bell right? But it became one of the trending topics on Twitter yesterday, February 6, together with the most-discussed topics in the whole country, tsunami and earthquake.

Well Ahcee Flores turned out to be connected with tsunami and earthquake after all because her rude comment in Yahoo! Philippines’ news story about the earthquake sparked outrage among our Vizayan brothers and sisters who experienced the earthquake and tsunami scare yesterday.

Here is Ahcee Flores‘ infamous comment right after a 6.9 magnitude earthquake hit Negros Oriental and Cebu on Monday:

“Let us all pray……. Na matuloy ang tsunami para maraming bisaya ang mamatay, para mabawasan ang mga baduy sa pilipinas.”

After the Tsunami alert has been lifted by the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHILVOLCS) at around 2:30 in the afternoon, Ahcee Flores posted another insensitive comment:

“Di bale guys, kundi man natuloy ang tsunami ngayon, wag tayo magalala, marami pa namang pagkakataon na darating. Matutuloy din yan, just keep on praying.”

After the controversial comments of Ahcee Flores, netizens, specially the bisdaks, expressed their outrage by posting angry comments against her on Facebook and Twitter. A number of hate pages dedicated on her were even created on Facebook like “The hunting of Ahcee Flores,” “Ahcee Flores -Persona non grata in Cebu,” “Ahcee Flores is Such a Bitch” and one extreme page called “Kill Ahcee Flores Movement”.

On the other hand, there’s also a Facebook Page that aims to support Flores and it’s called “Support Ahcee Flores.” It was believed that Ahcee herself made the page though.

And then there’s one Facebook page that claims Ahcee Flores‘ real name is Gladys Lumantes Delos Santos. The page’s title is “The hunting of Gladys Lumantes Delos Santos/ Ahcee Flores” and it has plenty of photos of the alleged Ahcee/Gladys like this one:
