Eugene Domingo shines at the "Asian Oscars."

Hard work is paying off for veteran actress and “Ang Babae sa Septic Tank” lead star Eugene Domingo. Because of the said independent film, Eugene was hailed recently as the ‘People’s Choice Best Actress’ in the recently held 6th Asian Film Awards in Hongkong, just shortly after being named ‘Best Actress’ in the 10th Gawad Tanglaw Awards.

In the film, Eugene plays herself who worked with three young film school graduates Rainier (Kean Cipriano), Bingbong (JM De Guzman), and Jocelyn (Kai Cortez) who attempted to produce an Oscar Awards worthy film. “Ang Babae sa Septic Tank” was written by Chris Martinez and directed by Marlon Rivera.
