Tina Presents Stories of Faith in ‘Krusada’

Strengthen and renew your faith in God this Lenten season as award-winning broadcast journalist Tina Monzon-Palma delivers compelling stories of people who faced and overcame adversity through faith and prayers this Thursday (Mar 29) in “Krusada.”

In the special Holy Week episode, Tina will get to know Pastor Ricardo Manlapaz, a notorious criminal in the 90s who refused to believe in God. His life changed when he started to pray and now serves the Lord by spreading His Word. What prompted him to change for the better?

Tina said, “There are times when we stumble and make mistakes, but faith in God is the only thing that we need to get us through life’s problems. In the end, only God will save us.”

Find hope in the story of Carlo Sarmiento, whose cancer diagnosis has not only knocked down his body but also greatly affected his family. Watch how the Sarmiento clan has accepted and coped with its breadwinner’s disease and how they are able to endure tough times by devoting prayers to God.

Watch these inspirational stories of repentance and faith with Tina in “Krusada,” which is nominated in the Social Issues/Current Events category at the prestigious 2012 New York Festivals International Television & Film Awards, this Thursday (Mar 29) after “Bandila” on ABS-CBN, or earlier on DZMM TeleRadyo (SkyCable Channel 26), 9:15 PM. People can also catch the special Lenten episode on Maundy Thursday (Apr 5), 10:30 p.m. on ABS-CBN.
