People Magazine has chosen R&B superstar Beyonce Knowles as their Most Beautiful Woman in the World for 2012.

Beyonce topped People Magazine’s annual list and bagged the coveted titled “World’s Most Beautiful Woman for 2012,” beating Sofia Vergara and Charlize Theron who placed 2nd and 3rd respectively.

The 30-year-old multi-Grammy winner commented that she feels more beautiful than she’ve ever felt after she gave birth to her first child Blue Ivy Carter with rapper husband Jay-Z.

“I have never felt so connected, never felt like I had such a purpose on this earth,” the singer told People.

Completing the Top 10 of People Magazine’s World’s Most Beautiful Women for 2012 are Lily Collins (#4), Madeleine Stowe (#5), Christina Hendricks (#6), Michelle Williams (#7), Paula Patton (#8), Miranda Lambert (#9) and Kate Middleton (#10).
