"Kung Ako'y Iiwan Mo" star Shaina Magdayao has confirmed her break-up with actor John Lloyd Cruz via a statement following rumors that they already separated months ago.

Shaina Magdayao has released an official statement confirming her break-up with John Lloyd Cruz as aired on ABS-CBN’s showbiz talk show “The Buzz” on Sunday.

Although the actress did not divulge the reason behind the break-up, she appeals to the public to “allow them to move on.”

The statement goes:

“To end all speculations, I confirm that John Lloyd and I have agreed to end our relationship. The reason is purely between John Lloyd and myself. I most humbly request everyone to allow us to move on with our respective lives with mutual respect and dignity.”

Meanwhile, other celebrity couples were also rumored of splitting up. They are Cristine Reyes and Rayver Cruz, and Bea Alonzo and Zanjoe Marudo. Both camps denied the speculations.
