“Beggin” was Steven Tyler‘s pick for Phillip Phillips.

Steven Tyler said “Can you believe this guy? When you’re facing the sun, the shadows fall behind you. I’m hoping you write your own songs. You could be a new-age Boss. You’ve got that character.”

Jennifer Lopez said “You’re very funny, to me. We picked the song to see if you could do the melody and you have to mess with it. It was great!”
