After a record-breaking 132 million votes, Phillip Phillips became the eleventh American Idol.

With the AI winner song given to Jessica entitled Change Nothing which means nothing is changed so that a WGWG (white guy with guitar) will still bag the AI title just like in the past consecutive seasons and with a nice winner song and production number with a band and sour comments from the judges, it is already insinuated that even before the voting started that Phillip will win the AI title, considering the show is entitled “American Idol” so that there really is a slim chance that an Asian could win it. But nonetheless, for sure, Jessica will have so many fat offers from various record producers, what with her so amazing voice and versatile talent! Congratulations, Jessica for having made it that far, you are still a winner much so to us your Pinoy and non-Pinoy fans and supporters! Good luck to a wonderful career ahead of you and GOD BLESS!
Jessica may have the strongest and most powerful voice in the competition. Pero she lacks in emotion and personality. These two are the ones that will help you connect with the audience.

To be fair PP is really good … but during the finale, Jes I believe
is far better than he is. Also, being a WGWG is an advantage for PP
since day 1. And it was not a surprise or shocker at all that he’ll
ended up as the winner. And during the finale, it is crystal clear that
they want PP to win. They really nailed down Jes, the final song that
was given to her and the critique by the judges … wow, I have nothing
to say. And to top it all, the grandeur final number of PP was really
damm good plus the standing O by the judges. That sealed everything,
the final verdict was given.
Anyway, with the final songs, PP may have a better song as compared
what Jes had, BUT Jes made the song beautiful … with that my hands
down to Jes !!! Congrats to PP & Jes. Hope both of you be
successful with your respective careers … Wish ko lang maiba na ang trend sa AI, it’s becoming boring, the WGWG always prevails.
The reason why Jessica lost because the majority of the voting public are girls in their teens and they saw Jessica as a threat to their admiration of the cute boy P-Squared. Jessica doesn’t need a title
to prove her worth . Let us just happy that she reached that far and let us turn our anger into figures, by buying her CD and downloading her songs thru Itunes.

I agree with you, I see the differences against the minority. Too many people here in America voted for Jessica but I don’t know what happen, when I tried to vote aGAIN IN JESSICA’S LINE , the line was busy for an hour. I am curious about this.

Neither Jessica Sanchez nor P2 made their production number for their finale song…P2 has a better production number with a better finale song than jessica has.

CHANGE NOTHING IS THE TITLE OF THE SONG….fyi… philip deserves to win and now question is….is he gonna be like those past winners who did not make it to stardom????the pressure is with him…pressure is with AI producer….good luck….now…its gonna be shocker if jessica will make big time in hollywood….her vocal capabilities are versatile….philip is limited to his style….what i hope to happen is…come next year if both jessica and philip release their respective singles/albums this 2011….who will be nominated or perhaps win a grammy award for best new artist?????
You people are just bitter since Jessica lost -_- I’m a filipino but I voted for Phillip and I’m not ashamed. His final song Home was definitely the BEST compared to Jessica’s Change Your Mind. It was definitely one of the best Idol finale songs and he deserved it. DON’T BE BITTER SINCE JESSICA LOST! SHE WILL STILL GET A RECORDING CONTRACT! -_- Sheez it’s not the end of the world she lost. She is just like another Charice, but Charice is better in my opinion.

The issue here is about ORIGINALiTY of the American Idol winner first single. He sang this song from somebody who already sang this song and even made it available on youtube. So, where is ORIGiNALITY of the song /// this is Greg Holden song……
