Check out some photos from the 35th Gawad Urian Awards night held on June 13, 2012, at the AFP theater in Camp Aguinaldo.
Kapamilya stars Paulo Avelino and Maja Salvador took home top acting honors in the 35th Gawad Urian beating the big guns in the industry.
Paulo Avelino won Best Actor for “Ang Dalawang Kaliwang Paa” while Maja Salador won Best Actress for “Thelma.”
With their feat, I’m sure a lot of young stars will venture into Indie films this year to have a shot in next’s year’s Urian.
StarTalk’s Butch Francisco, Us Girls’ Angel Aquino, Umagang Kay Ganda’s Venus Raj and Paparazzi’s Zoren Legaspi served as hosts.
