Kapuso actor Mike Tan is finally getting the breaks he deserves.

After his strong performance as Arturo San Jose III in the now-concluded primetime series “Legacy,” he earned another spot as a main cast of the currently ongoing afternoon soap “Faithfully” where he and also-rising drama actor Marc Abaya are sharing leading man duties. Both of them surrounded by a bevy of beautiful characters led by Maxene Magalona and Michelle Madrigal.

In the soap, Mike plays the character of Perry Escano, which according to teleserye critics and die-hard viewers; he’s able to deliver with authenticity. It is definitely a challenging role, as it deals with a plot anchored on treachery, sacrifice and vengeance.

“Faithfully,” which replaced “Broken Vow”, is proving to be a very significant project for Mike, whose momentum as an actor has been on continuous mode especially that last year he was able to appear in a number of valuable teleserye exposures. He got noticed by the public for his believable portrayals of characters like Jonas Alejandro in “Kung Aagawin Mo Ang Langit,” Teban/Anino in “Captain Barbell Ang Pagbabalik, and as the admirable Migs Ocampo for the Sine Novela’s take on “Trudis Liit.”

In “Legacy” he was seen by viewers as a scheming marketing head of a company, using his physical assets and charming personality to bewitch the character of Lovi Poe (Natasha Alcantara), whom he believes he could manipulate to achieve a higher post in the corporate battlefield.

With Mike Tuviera as the director, and Jun Lana as one of the creative minds behind Faithfully, this show is proving to be a crucial project for the Ultimate Male Survivor of StarStruck 2 edition. His performance here undoubtedly adds validity to his bankability as a dramatic actor.

Rounding up the main cast of “Faithfully” are Isabel Oli, Vaness Del Moral, and Isabelle Daza. They, including Maxene and Michelle, may be all too hot to handle. But the handsome, talented Mike, along with the fiery Marc Abaya, are capable to counteract the siege, and display the essence of ultimate male attraction for balance.
