Lioness attacks crocodile in Botswana, Africa, and the action was caught on camera.
Belgian photographer Pia Dierickx was able to take some snaps of a very rare wildlife moment when a lioness attacks a crocodile to protect her cubs.
The lioness and her cubs were crossing the Okabanga Delta riverbank in Botswana when suddenly a crocodile appeared and attacked them. The lioness fight back fiercely biting the crocodile before she ran off uninjured.
