Remember the dog from the Cinemalaya entry "Bwakaw"? Her name is Princess and she bags title role in upcoming Kapuso teleserye "Aso ni San Roque."

Princess, the acting dog, starred opposite veteran actor Eddie Garcia in the Cinemalaya 2012 entry “Bwakaw” helmed by Jun Lana. The film won the Audience Award and Best Actor for Eddie Garcia.

After her big screen debut, Princess the dog will now star in a Kapuso teleserye titled “Aso ni San Roque.”

The primetime series will reunite Princess with Eddie Garcia who will play the role of San Roque. Also starring in the series are Angelika dela Cruz, Paolo Contis, TJ Trinidad, Mona Louise Rey and LJ Reyes in her very first lead role after her StarStruck stint.

At the helm of the new series is Don Michael Perez.

According to reports, new Kapuso star Rafael Rosell will have a guest role in the series.
