ABS-CBN Acquires Franchise for ‘The Voice’ in the Philippines
From the creators of “Big Brother,” “Deal or No Deal,” “Fear Factor,” and “1 vs 100,” comes “The Voice,” a reality singing competition which originated from Holland.
ABS-CBN acquired the rights to produce a Philippine version of the show following the success of the US version. Tentatively titled “The Voice Philippines,” the next Kapamilya singing competition is set to air on 2013. This was mentioned by Direk Laurenti Dyogi on Twitter:
The voice of Philippines auditions in LA on sept 15 n in SF sept 16!

Contrary to other reality singing competitions, “The Voice” has blind auditions and one-on-one battle phases. And similar with “The X Factor,” four judges will serve as mentors/coaches. But they will be the one who will pick the contestants that will become members of their team.
According to a report by ABS-CBN News, former PBB Teen housemate Robi Domingo is being considered to become the host of “The Voice Philippines.”
But who will become the four mentors/coaches that will be the pinoy counterparts of Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Cee Lo Green?
Any suggestion?
