Pinoy JR Aquino Wows 3 Judges of ‘The Voice’
Aquino, a reject from American Idol season 4, made 3 coaches turned their seats on him namely Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine and Ceelo Green.
“You sound a lot like Bruno,” said Levine. “I think it’s a perfect fit my friend. I would love to have you on my team for sure, 100 percent.”
Despite Adam’s high praises, Aquino chose Cee Lo Green to be his coach. It’s interesting to note that Cee Lo was also the coach who handled Pinay Cheesa Laureta in Season 2.
And FYI, this Pinoy singer from Anchorage, Alaska, has more than 400,000 subscribers on his You Tube channel that features covers of songs like Chris Brown‘s “Don’t Judge Me,” John Legend‘s “Tonight” and Justin Bieber‘s “Fall and Be Alright.”
