Asia's King of Talk--Boy Abunda--was able to interview American heartthrob Zac Efron during the Penshoppe FanCon 2012 on Saturday at the SM MOA Arena.

Screams echoed to all corners of the SM Mall of Asia Arena on Saturday, September 29, during Penshoppe’s Fan Conference for Hollywood actor Zac Efron.

But prior to the “High School Musical” star’s appearance, local artists like La Diva, Jay-R, and Never the Strangers entertained the crowd. The 3-time National Cheerdance champs–UP PEP Squad–also showcased a very engaging routine that climaxed to the much-awaited entrance of Zac Efron who walked the ramp to the delight of his thousands of screaming fans.

The “High School Musical” star then took the hot seat in a one-on-one interview with the King of Talk himself, Boy Abunda.

In an interview by ABS-CBN News, the actor said: “I’m just excited to be here. My dad comes here a lot. Some of our close family friends are from the Philippines. I grew up going to their house eating chicken adobo and stuff like that. And then, of course, Vanessa (Hudgens, his former girlfriend) is a Filipino.”
