"Tiktik: The Aswang Chronicles" had a 5-day opening gross of P25.9 million according to Box Office Mojo. "This Guy's in Love with U, Mare!" scored a whopping P197 million in 2 weeks!

After breaking the opening weekend record for 2012, “This Guy’s in Love with U, Mare!” starring Toni Gonzaga, Luis Manzano and Vice Ganda has outgrossed the two-week record of “The Mistress.” The John Lloyd-Bea starrer has raked-in P186,729,040 in two weeks while “Mare!” scored P197 million in 145 theaters in the same time frame, topping Philippine box office for second consecutive week.

“This Guy’s In Love with U, Mare!” is now running as the 2nd highest-grossing Pinoy Movie for 2012 so far.

Meanwhile, “Tiktik: The Aswang Chronicles” debuted last weekend at no. 2 position with an opening weekend haul of P25.9 million in 105 theaters nationwide.

The two Pinoy movies bested the opening of 6 foreign movies namely “Argo” (#4), “Looper” (#5), “Alex Cross” (#6), “Frankenweenie” (#7), “Bait” (#9) and “V/H/S” (no. 12).
