The Positive: Sam Mendes succeeded in making the reboot of one of Hollywood’s biggest franchises looks revitalized and relatable to the new generation of moviegoers. By giving weight to the humanity of the characters aside from the sophisticated car chases and gun shots, “Skyfall” has instantly taken its position as one of the best James Bond movie ever, if not the best.

Daniel Craig is charismatic as usual and his portrayal of the 50-year-old iconic role is more realistic this time.

Javier Bardem, on the other hand, created an iconic villain out of his character. An Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor is quite possible.

The Negative: The film started with an over-the-top traindigger sequence that leaves you with an expectation that bigger action sequences are coming. Good thing, the conflict that boils down to two people talking, is as riveting as the fight scenes.

Memorable Line: “What were you expecting, an exploding pen?”
