For the first time, rock band frontman Kean Cipriano will star in "Maalaala Mo Kaya" this Saturday (November 17), wherein he will portray the role of John, the loving boyfriend of Lyn (Yen Santos), a conservative lady who based her life decisions on different kinds of sayings that she learned from her mother, aunt and grandmonther.

Lyn connects everything that happens to her to the old beliefs, from the right time to be in a relationship up to the reasons why she is suffering. In the end, which will matter more–Lyn’s long list of sayings or real feelings that she and John have for each other?

Together with Kean and Yen in their “MMK” episode are Sylvia Sanchez, Ricardo Cepeda, Sharlene San Pedro, Nikki Bagaporo, Cris Villongco, Helga Krapf, Patrick Sugui, Timothy Chan, and Aria Clemente. It was researched by Agatha Ruadap, written by Benson Logronio, and directed by Dado Lumibao.
