Marquez-Pacquiao: KO in 6th in Favor of Juan Manuel Marquez
Juan Manuel Marquez knocked out Manny Pacquiao for the first time since their first bout in 2004. It happened during the 3rd and 6th round of their highly-anticipated fourth face-off. The 39-year-old Mexican warrior landed a jarring right hand that stopped the People’s Champ, who by the way, is winning in the judges score cards.

Round 1
Pacquiao and Marquez are waiting each other out but the Filipino boxer shows aggresiveness. Pacquiao wins the round, 10-9.
Round 2
Marquez caught Pacquiao with a left hook. Pacquiao unloads a straight left. The Mexican gets in a good right but Pacquiao delivers counter-punches. The Filipino boxer win the round, 10-9. Pacquiao leads, 20-18.
Round 3
A straight right hand from Marquez sends Pacquiao to the canvas for the first time ever in their four clashes. Although Pacquiao delivers a hard right, Marquez wins the round because of the knock out, 10-8. Score is now even, 28-28.
Round 4
Both fighters are being cautious. Pacquiao unloads a combination to the head of Marquez. But the Mexican fighter connected two hard rights before the bell. Marquez wins the round, 10-9. Marquez leads, 38-37.
Round 5
Pacquiao staggers Marquez, prompting the referee to give the Mexican a standing 8-count! The People’s Champ is now attacking his opponent aggresively. Pacquiao wins the round, 10-8. Pacquiao leads, 47-46.
Round 6
Juan Manuel Marquez lands a solid right to Pacquiao’s chin. The People’s Champ drops to the canvas head on. Marquez wins by knockout! Time of stoppage is at 2:59 of Round 6.
Juan Manuel Marquez improves his score to 55 Wins (40 knockouts, 15 decisions), 6 Losses (5 decisions, 1 disqualification), 1 Draw.
Manny Pacquiao now stands with 54 Wins (38 knockouts, 16 decisions), 5 Losses (3 knockouts, 2 decisions), 2 Draws.
