Coco is indeed back on primetime television, and this time on a role we never seen him before. But the same Coco Martin, who works hard on his role, is involve in this upcoming teleserye. He is one of the creative consultant of the project and he is proud of it.
Coco could relate with his character. He divulged that “Juan dela Cruz” is patterned to his personal traits in real life and that TV viewers will see the real Coco through his role. Dahil bawat is sa atin may aswang sa loob natin,” he remarked.
On his getting ready for the role, Coco admitted that he wasn’t able to do as much as preparation as he can.
When asked about his onscreen partner for this teleserye, Erich Gonzales, the young actor has all the great things to say about her, “Isa siya sa magagandang artista. At kapag nagka-eksena kami, nagkakaroon ng chemistry.”
Coco Martin is the original choice for the role and he is in awe about it. “Nakaka-overwhelm para mapili ako. Siguro may mga katangian sa akin na nakakarelate ang mga Pinoy,” he said. On what does he think are his traits that every “Juan dela Cruz” (Pinoy) can relate, “Siguro hindi ako natatakot na magkamali dahil don ako natututo.
Catch Coco Martin as ‘Juan dela Cruz’ on February 4 in ABS-CBN’s Primetime Bida before TV Patrol.
