In a letter to NTC Commissioner Gamaliel Cordoba, GMA Network noted continuing signal disruptions of Kapuso programs on SkyCable’s Channel 12 that began on February 1, 2013 around 5 a.m. in the morning. According to some televiewers, there was only a blank screen where GMA’s shows used to be aired.

Here is GMA Network’s official statement regarding this matter:

GMA Network expresses its concern as to why it gets to be affected by whatever Sky Cable is doing or modifying in its system. The Network believes that it should be the responsibility of Sky Cable to make certain that any changes it implements in the system does not in any way affect the channels for the sake of the viewing public and paying subscribers.

Sky Cable is a subsidiary of ABS-CBN, a rival of GMA Network.
