Weekday mornings will never be the same again as Mobile Suit Gundam 00 began airing this month on TV5 at 9:45am.

Hailed the Best Anime by Newtype Magazine in 2008, Mobile Suit Gundam 00 is the seventh incarnation of Sunrise’s long-running Gundam franchise. Expect an all-new tagalized version of this anime that is sure to take viewers to a whole new action experience.

Thrown into conflict between war and resentment in the year A.D. 2307, watch as Gundam Meisters (pilots) Setsuna F. Seiei, Lockon Stratos, Allelujah Haptism and Tiera Erde man mobile suits to end the war between the 3 superpowers: Union of Solar Energy and Free Nations (formerly United States of America), the Human Reform League (Russia, China and India) and the Advanced European Union. Throw into the mix other renegade groups that seek to drive the world into a chaotic downward spiral as the Meisters face an uphill battle on the road to achieving world peace.
